The Menatone Redneck vs. Sputnik is as faithful a recreation of the original British high gain/master volume amplifier. The classic JMP 2203 circuit is constructed with all of the Mojo amp style parts including carbon 1/2 watt resistors and rolled poly caps.
Featuring the entire range of controls from those legendary amps including the full treble, mid, bass and presence eq as well as the master volume gain which produces a full power amp style roar at any volume. The gain is brash, mean and snarly but not over the top so it can be boosted with another overdrive just like they did back in the day.
All top mounted jacks and 9-18 volts can work with virtually any power supply and pedalboard.
Build time is approx. 3-5 weeks
DEMOS
All demos played poorly by Menatone unless otherwise noted. Amp is a princeton style 5w running into a Ox Amp Top Box. Amp settings are very clean to not hide the sound of the pedal.
