The Shut Up & Drive is a jFet based
amplifier like overdrive/distortion capable of semi clean boosts all the way to hot rod JCM800 levels of gain. Not really based on any particular amp, its 3 discrete gain stages definetaly lean towards more of a british flavor. Its tone is a simple treble cut control and its resonance is a passive bass cut. It also reacts beautifully with the volume knob on your guitar. Through hole components are used wherever possible.
9v power supply only, no battery.
Build time is approx. 1-3 weeks
DEMOS
All demos played poorly by Menatone unless otherwise noted. Amp is a princeton style 5w running into a Ox Amp Top Box. Amp settings are very clean to not hide the sound of the pedal.
